Her Majesty The Queen Margrethe II of Denmark visited Saeby in 1998. Part of the program was a stroll through the old part of town and a visit to the newly opened Saeby Glaspusteri. On behalf of the local municipality we made the official present: A plate with a maritime motif inspired by monks ancient carvings in the wooden benches in Saebys old church.
